New Zealand Football – Secondary School Aged Survey

The following is a message from New Zealand Football:

Dear Key Stakeholders,

We value your opinion and would like to hear from you!

New Zealand Football has put together a working group to meet and discuss some of the unique challenges for secondary school-aged footballers. The working group believes there is an opportunity for evolution and for those participating in, organising and delivering youth football to collaborate and co-design a plan to improve the outcomes for youth footballers.

With the above in mind, the following survey has been created to distribute to secondary school-aged (12-18 years) children (both football participants and non-participants) as well as the Parents, Coaches, Referees, Schools and Clubs that work with secondary school-aged footballers.

Parents, we would very much appreciate you enabling and supporting your children to fill out the survey as well as hearing from you too.

New Zealand Football would like to thank you for taking part in this confidential survey. Completing this survey is entirely voluntary and will take in between five and ten minutes. New Zealand Football will use the information to inform an action plan to improve the outcomes of youth footballers.

Please be assured that no information that could be used to identify you will be used in any reports or reporting about this research.  The full set of data will be held by New Zealand Football.

Best wishes,

New Zealand Football
