Grace Saywell (Paraparaumu College) defends Poneke Plate

Year 13 student Grace Saywell (Paraparaumu College) successfully defended her Poneke Plate in the women’s race of the Laykold Cup Carnival at the Wellington Velodrome. While Bridget Olphert,  Zoe Perry, and 2015 / 2016 champion Sophie-Leigh Bloxham were aiming for an upset, Grace held on to win the 20 lap race.
