DIRECTOR OF SPORT & ACTIVE RECREATION - SAMUEL MARSDEN COLLEGIATE

Responsible to the Principal, the Director of Sport & Active Recreation is responsible for the leadership and delivery of Marsden’s sport and active recreation strategy. ‘Every Body Active’. The Director will maintain oversight of all sport and active recreation across the school (Years 1-13), whilst leading and supporting the Sports Administrator with their day to day management of sport and active recreation across Years 1-8.


The successful applicant will have a proven track record of building and maintaining reciprocally respectful relationships and hold credibility and mana within the schools sports sector. They will possess a passion for working with young people and whānau and be attuned with the importance of increasing and enhancing participation whilst maintaining high levels of integrity and professionalism.

2ND XI CRICKET COACH  - WELLINGTON COLLEGE

​​​​​​​The purpose of Wellington College Cricket is to provide an outstanding cricket experience that develops a lifelong love of the game, reflects the values of Wellington College, and enables every student to enjoy, improve and excel.

The Wellington College Cricket Club is seeking an experienced and values-driven coach to take the role of 2nd XI Coach.  The Wellington College 2nd XI participates in Premier Youth Grade secondary school cricket in Wellington, against the top 1st XI teams in the region.  It also participates in pre-season and occasional exchange fixtures representing the school.  The team is an important performance pathway team within the Club.

As 2nd XI Coach, you will oversee all aspects of the team, from selection and game strategy and coaching to player development. You'll work with students, coaches, parents, and key stakeholders to create a high-performing and inclusive cricket environment.  You’ll also work closely with the Club’s Director of Cricket and 1st XI Head Coach, and be guided by the policies of the Club and Wellington College.
