DIRECTOR OF SPORTS - RONGOTAI COLLEGE


Rongotai College has a proud tradition of achievement in sport at a local and national level.  We are seeking a dynamic person with a passion for sport and a background in sport leadership or sport organisations to lead this important area of school life.   


This position involves:

  • Organising, administering and facilitating the college’s involvement in our co-curricular sports programme;

  • Developing and growing our sports programme;

  • Growing community involvement in our sports programmes;

  • Ensuring high quality performance by coaches, managers and players;

  • Promoting enjoyment and participation in sport.


This is a full-time position offering an attractive employment package.

DIRECTOR OF SPORT & ACTIVE RECREATION - SAMUEL MARSDEN COLLEGIATE

Fixed Term – Start: 13 May 2024 and End: 12 December 2024

Samuel Marsden Collegiate School is widely regarded as one of Aotearoa’s leading independent schools for girls, from Year 1 to Year 13, with a proud history dating back to 1878.  Marsden aspires to lay the foundation for lives of meaning, accomplishment and genuine happiness within our faith-based environment.


This fixed term full time position has arisen to cover a period of staff parental leave.


Responsible to the Principal, the Director of Sport & Active Recreation is responsible for the leadership and delivery of Marsden’s sport and active recreation strategy. ‘Every Body Active’.  The Director will maintain oversight of all sport and active recreation across the school (Years 1-13), whilst leading and supporting the Sports Administrator with their day to day management of sport and active recreation across Years 1-8.


The successful applicant will have a proven track record of building and maintaining reciprocally respectful relationships, and hold credibility and mana within the schools’ sports sector.  They will possess a passion for working with young people and whānau, and be attuned with the importance of increasing and enhancing participation whilst maintaining high levels of integrity and professionalism.

BASKETBALL COACHES - ONSLOW COLLEGE

ASSISTANT 1st XV COACH - SCOTS COLLEGE
