On Sunday (2 Feb) the Wellington Secondary Schools Regional Triathlon Champs were held at Scorching Bay, as part of the Barefoot Triathlon Series.  This marked a very welcome return of secondary school's triathlon to Wellington, following a 10-year hiatus.  A special thank you to Triathlon NZ and Barefoot Triathlons for making this happen.  

In all we had 29 students compete this year, which is a great start for an event that is sure to grow in future years.  Congratulations to the winners of the secondary school age group divisions:

U19 - Lily Foster and Theo Bray

U16 - Maggie Lintott and Zac Wormgoor

U14 - Addison Skinner and Oliver Lean
